The Queen Academy Residential Program

The Queen Academy Residential Program operates as a traditional foster home, partnering with the Georgia Division for Children & Families (DFCS) to accept foster care placements between the ages of 11-17.

The Queen Academy Residential Program

Residents in the Queen Academy Residential Program participate in the weekly small group curriculum. Additionally, Queen Academy adheres to all court-ordered treatment plans outlined by DFCS, including counseling, therapy, family visitation requirements, academic services, etc.

Residents also receive academic support in the form of tutoring and enrichment, as well as participate in monthly community service activities.

The residential program at Queen Academy partners with DFCS to support family reunification where appropriate for all residents, or a successful transition into independent living programs for residents preparing to age out of foster care. Queen Academy will continue to provide support in the form of mentoring for all residents who are reunified with families or transitioned into independent living programs.
